How to get ready for a Visa Interview?

How long does it take to get a call from the US embassy after taking your passport-student visa interview-?!?

Okay, so I had an interview on Sunday at the Us embassy in Kabul for a student visa for the second time. The first time my visa was rejected because I forgot some documents.. But this time they handed me a red paper, with a token on it and a case number, and also took my passport so I think I'm getting my visa.. right? But my classes are starting January 7th, and on the red paper it says generally is takes 3-4 months to finish processing my visa, will they consider the date printed on my I-20? PLEASE ANSWER I REALLY APRECIATE IT THANK YOU.
Answer:

if they decide put your case in to Administrative processing ...it could be 2 months or 4 years ... nobody can tell ... the majority are 3/4 months
