WHY IS NOT MY UK VISA TRACKING NUMBER NOT WORKING ON VFS GLOBAL?

i have tried a few times the refernece number my husband has been texted and recieved is not working on the vfs website it says enter the correct reference number when that is so the correct ref number... its been a week. now.
