How much does an Emergency US Passport cost?
-
I'm going to the US on the 9th of July and my passport has expired. The time frame to get a new passport is two weeks, so I won't get it in time. I called the Consulate and I was told I would be given an Emergency Passport, valid for three months, so I could travel to America this summer and then get my new Passport when I come back from my trip. My question is: will I have to pay for the Emergency Passport? and if so, how much will it cost? I have a dual citizenship so I could travel using my other Passport, but using my American Passport would make things much easier. Is it worth it though to get an Emergency Passport? 10 points to best answer!
