Applying for US tourist visa and what to show? (dad's bank balance or affidavit support latter)?

i'm an international student in Canada and i'm applying for US tourist visa. I need to show that my dad is supporting me for money so what do i need? do i have to get his bank statement (just availabe bank balance or monthly bank statement?) or affidavit supprt letter? please tell me in breifly what do i need? and how can i get it? thank you!!!

Aside from those you mentioned you might need to provide a proof of school/university records that you are currently a student in Canada.
