-
I’m a Sri Lanka Citizen and my girlfriend is Italian. We have been together for more than 3 years and now we are planning to get married. Currently Im in Sri Lanka and my girlfriend is in Italy. But she is planning to come down to sri Lanka to get married. And after our marriage we are planning to settle down in Italy. Can anyone please tell me if I need to apply for particular visa if to go to Itlay after our marriage? If so which type of visa should I apply for? And how long will this process take? Any answer would be highly appreciated.

Answer:
Yes because your still a Sri Lanka citizen. Doesn't make one bit of different if your wife is Italian. You still need a visa to enter Italy. Tourist visa.
