Can u get a US passport in same day if you lost yours?

I have lost my passport, can i get a same day uk passport?

  • I am travelling in less than a week and cannot find my passport anywhere. How likely am I to get a passport on the same day if I visit the passport office. I have already booked my appointment with them but they will not confirm if I will be given a new passport before my travel date.
