The People to People Student Ambassador program is really good at helping students fundraise, so you won't be lost if you get accepted. After the info meeting, you have to turn in an application with recommendations by 2 adults (teachers or others), then have an interview. They are both very easy to pass. Once that happens, you have a meeting once a month, from Jan to June, until your departure date. Don't lie to your parents, but this program is really worthwhile and an experience of a lifetime. I know that it changes many people's lives. It did with me, because it gave me the interest of traveling abroad to other countries, and made me want to learn about the world. I went on the France, Italy, Greece program! The one I went on was the European Odyssey Program, to France, Italy, and Greece. Each program has a different price, but it is between $5000-$7000.
