How To Get Your Husband Back?

My African American Ex-husband kidnapped our children to America from Kuwait.How do I get them back?

  • My ex husband and I were married for 11 years. I am a srilankan by citizenship. We got married in Kuwait were we lived for 11 years. He never applied for my green card as he didnt want me to have one. Our marraige was not working as he was very abusive to me and the children. About 8 months ago he kidnapped the 2 children (my daughter who is 7 and son 2) to the states. since then we have not heard from the children. He came back to kuwait for work. We hired a lawyer in Kuwait and flied a number of cases aganist him including a custody case which I won and a kidnap case which I have won too. Where he was aksed to bring the children back, but he does not want to. He is currently on the run from the police and is not in jail yet. I have papers proving I have custody over the children. But winning these cases has not got me my children back. My lawyer says I have to be patient and wait. he says he cannot do anything else from kuwait and that we will have to spend more money and file a case in the states which will be alot more money. I have already spent more then KD15,000 which is equailent to US$51,813. I do not have anymore money to spend on an international case. Being the mother of the children and having custody of them do I have any rights in america? I know where they are and the name of the school my daughter is in. Is there any thing I can do to get my children back to kuwait. I am desperate. They are so small and should not be away from me. Please help me as I have tried everything I can think of
