Does anyone have an email address at the British Embassy in Istanbul for following up on UK Visa applications?

A friend of mine is trying to get his gf over from Turkey on a visitor's visa. The application is stuck in Istanbul at the British Embassy. he can only find generic agency email addresses, and they're not helping. Anyone got anything more useful?
