How long does it take to get a US tourist visa?
-
I am a Bulgarian living in the UK (near London). Does anyone know how long will it take me to get a tourist visa, if i can get an invitation and whatever is needed from the person that I want to visit there (american citizen). Also how many times do I have to go to the embassy to do it? I want to go in December, but I dont yet have money to apply for the visa and is almost October. This is the reason why I am asking.

Answer:
An invitation is not required ..to apply at London you must be a legal resident of the UK You will be required to prove you are a stable person with a home, job and good income and good reason for coming back if you cannot afford the visa ... you will not be able to prove you are financially sound
