How long does it take to get a visa to come back?

i am doing an immigrant visa and i was wondering how long does it take to get my passport with my visa back from us consul in rio de janeiro? i did the whole process already for the immigrant visa and the last thing was to do was send my passport out to get my visa.... .sent passport through sedex/fedex on sept 29 and should get to the on monday oct 3 if any one can help me that would be great :)
