How long does it take to process a UK fiance visa?

  • Has anyone gone to the UK on a fiance visa? How long did it take once you sent in the application? I've heard everything from 1 day to 12 weeks and I just want to get a good idea of how long it might actually take. They emailed when they got my application to say they'd opened it and that they'd email again when they began processing it and then again when the decision was made. How long did it take for them to email to say they had begun processing? It's been 4 days since they opened it and still no processing? How long can I expect to wait and how long does it take for their decision?
