How much does a student visa for an American cost in the Misrad Hapnim, Israel?

    Hi -- just to mostly answer the first answerer -- visa costs for different nationalities in different countries can vary enormously according to a principle called "reciprocity", in which each country charges the other the same rate. The validity of the visa works the same way. E.g. a Nigerian and a Russian each pay $100 to apply for a U.S. visa, but if the visa is issued, the Russian then has to pay an additional fee, while the Nigerian doesn't. And an American has to do the same for a Russian visa. Hi CPG -- I think he means an ISRAELI visa for an AMerican, not the other way around.

$100 for the application fee $100 for the SEVIS fee. Then your postage costs to send the application form out to your U.S. university. Travel costs to the Embassy in Israel. Cost to have your passport/visa sent back to you after the interview. You are probably looking at $300-$350 in total.
