Im presently unemployed in my commonwealth country but i would like to work in the UK as a pharmacy technician/dispenser...can someone help me? also, do i must have money before and saved up to qualify to this visa even though i will be staying with my partner free of cost in the UK on his expense?

  You will need funds to support yourself until you become employed. You are not able to claim any public funds as that would be illegal until you have ILR so must show that the funds available to you are sufficient. Have you applied for any jobs yet? If so, show evidence of this and also evidence that supports your salary expectations. UKBA will want to see evidence that you are likely to find employment easily and quickly. The maintenance requirement for an ancestry visa used to be £1,600. It is now no longer stated as a figure but is still probably a good guide. If you are relying on the financial support of your partner, you will need to submit evidence that he can indeed support you without recourse to public funds.
