Do I need visa to go on holiday to Algeria?

I am a South African living in UK. I want to go for a weeks holiday in Cyprus. Do I need a visa?

    First, I assume you mean the Republic of Cyprus, not Turkish northern Cyprus. In that case, if you have UK citizenship, you do not need a Visa, because Cyprus is part of the EU. If you only have South African citizenship, then you do need a visa. Edit: I should add that country of residence is always irrelevant in these cases. Country of citizenship is the only thing that matters.
