Can I travel other european countries with the renewal receipt of the permesso di soggiorno, visa expired.?
-
Please help me...This is my 2nd yr in Italy (3 yrs contract). I have applied for renewal of my permesso di soggiorno. I have the posteitalia receipt. My 1 year SCHENGEN visa expired. I have to go to some other EU countries for my work. Is it possible to visit other european countries with the post office (posteitalia) receipt and come back again to Italy? I need to go back to India (home) also, during this period..Please advice me.. thank you in advance..

Answer:
Short answer - no. A receipt of a post office does not substitute an official visa. Since it was written in your visa when it will expire you should have applied earlier for a renewal. It's you own damn fault buddy if you are in **** now !
