What do they check at the US embassy when u get an emergency passport?

Okay so i came to Mexico about 8 months ago, with out a passport or any kind of transmit, i dont think they know i even left.... however i want to go back to Dallas, Texas.....they suggested that i go to the embassy and get an emergency passport... I know you need a photo ID and Birth cirt. i have that, and you need to know your SS number.... but...do they check if the finger prints are the same as when i was in dallas? what exactly do they check in the computers? and all that....as detailed info as you please help me with. i know i sound paranoid thats cause i am! and i want to know ever little detail possible before i go. thanks for reading

No, they don't normally check your prints, but if you have some sort of legal problem in your past, it will still show up in the data base.
