Can a school file for F1 visa renewal? I can't go home at this time,but would like to volunteer in Haiti. help?

My Visa expired in june 2009. Am currently a full time student at Goldfarb school of nursing. I have no money to go home to renew my visa. I will be graduating with BSN in aug 2010. I would like to volunteer in Haiti in the summer 2010 because i need more of such experience in order to work with international organizations.What can i do?

If you overstay your visa, you will NOT be able to get back into the country, and may have difficulty getting out of it. Are you from Haiti?
