Does Malaysia have transit or temporary visa-on-arrival issuing facility at KL international airport for Australian Permanent Residents visiting/entering Malaysia for just a few days?

How exactly are you getting your permanent residency? Are you a refugee. If you are a refugee then you shouldn't be able to get your own countries' passport and you should be travelling on the Australian Certificate of Identity/Titre de Voyage which would waiver the need for a visa. However if you are holding permanent residency in Australia plus your original nationality/ travel document then you may need a visa (see link).
