How can a UK citizen and US citizen marry in Jamaica?

What is required for an american citizen and a uk citizen to be married? Can we marry in either country?

once married can I legally move me and my children to the UK and if so what steps would I have to take to do so. Also is it safe for americans to live in the UK? once married could I become a citizen of the UK and/or by doing so would I lose my US citizenship? Can I live in the UK and not be a citizen as long as I had visa's for me and my children?
Answer:

I married a Brit 4 years ago. We married in my hometown in Indiana. I applied for spouse visa, obviouly I had to have one for each of my children. We got it in 30 days. You keep your citizenship unless you want to get citizenship in Great Britain. I dont recommend it, but you can always get dual citizenship. I myself will never get either because I am always an American. My children have had a hard time with it. They are treated pretty badley sometimes and I've had to pull one out of school because it got so bad. You may be luckier depending on where you live I suppose. I'm an adult so I can handle myself..but my kids..well it breaks my heart because they are sweet girls who just want to fit in. Good luck and I hope all is well with you.
