Asylum Seekers coming to the UK?
-
Asylum seekers should ask for asylum at the first safe country they come to. How come they arrive in the UK? This is not the first safe country they come to. Is it because our financial support is more generous? In the present economic downturn which political party is going to address this ongoing and growing problem? I really do fear we are going to have racial violence in the not too distant future.

The racial violence is spurred by the fact that these asylum seekers don't respect the UK laws, they build ghettos around cities and so on, not because of fear mongering. Asylum itself isn't the problem, but the system is widely abused. And I doubt parties will address it since Europe is brainwashed into the multiculturalism crap and cultural relativism.

Other countries don't let them stay.. Italians for example, don't put fax paper in their fax machines, so we can't send them back. UK is way to soft with people too. How can the first safe country someone lands in, be an island... RE: Comment below: "They do not pick and choose where they go, they are allocated. Individuals who are placed within the UK are done so based on space or the fact that family already live here. ". That's rubbish, Asylum can ONLY be the first country they reach, thats why is is asylum. And, I know on good grounds, through knowing a number of people who work in Immigration that the people the we let in on these grounds are often bad people - ie. Murderer's, Rapists, Paedos, who say they can't go back to their own country or they will be killed, so are released onto OUR streets. Edit # 2 - You cannot have an "illegal asylum seeker", since to be an asylum seeker, you have asylum granted. But there are tonnes of illegal immigrants, that when caught, immediately claim asylum for various reasons. Like not being able to go home because they are gay...whilst having left a wife and family at home, and currently having a girlfriend...

The UK Labour....Cons and libs...haven't got the B***s to say enough is enough..... How long must we carry on seeing our country abused and taken for an easy touch.. Most of the so called asylum seekers aren't asylum seekers....... They have heard they can live an easy life in the UK...And get paid for it.... No other country stands for it... So why should we... And Yes....I agree with you..It is only a matter of time before we have racial violence..... But can you blame the British for that.......I don't think so..! This is why I support the "UKIP" party.... Its the only party that can do something about it. ..........................Support.....… http://www.ukip.org.............................

Actually, in most cases, Asylum seekers have to seek asylum in the first safe country they enter. The cases you mention with people smugglers are rare, but the media love to report them. The link below goes into the facts on asylum. If you know of an Asylum seeker who is working, report them. They are taking a job away from a legal migrant and by working illegally, they are also making things worse for bona fide asylum seekers.

They do not pick and choose where they go, they are allocated. Individuals who are placed within the UK are done so based on space or the fact that family already live here. They know very little about the country and financial aid or government systems in place, you must remember they are facing persecution and don't really have time to think where would I like to go to get the most money. The UK even gives less financial support than many european countries such as Belgium and Denmark. Many other countries also send back refugees when still in danger so they are relocated to another place that will allow them to enter. Africa and Asia look after 2/3 of refugees whereas Europe only 18%. If there is racial violence then it will be on the people who conduct this violence's head. Largely through misinformed fear mongering by certain people. People smugglers aren't offical asylum seekers they are illegal immigrants. They may be refugees trying to escape persecution but under offical statistics they are not asylum seekers and if found are subject to instant deportation. This is not what you asked in the question you asked about asylum seekers not illegal immigrants who are smuggled in. I think saying most is also a vast over generalisation and I cannot see evidence of such. Many also die on the trips and are taken advantage of by the smugglers themselves. They do not come down to financial support because they would be unable to apply and are paid cash in hand in an illegal process and often live with many other people in a house rented by the smugglers. There is no way what I say is going to change your mind anyway but there are the figures and there are the reports you choose your own opinion about what is given to you.
