How to find a certain person in the US?

How can i find out if a certain person works at the UN office in Newyork?

• I have tried to google them, but with no luck, and when i try to check online at the UN office i dont get anywhere, but its vital that i find out if this person is for real, and does work for this organisation, any sensible answers would be great to read.....

  Call the switchboard of UN Office at New York. Ask them to connect you to the name of the person (give department, etc. if you know). If the person is for real and in that office, chances are you will be able to connect to him. If not the switchboard will probably tell you so. Alternatively ask switchboard to connect you to Office of Personnel (the HR guys). When you get to them, explain why you are trying to ascertain the bonafides of your person, and then let them help you. HTH.
