How can I change my first name, given in passport?

Passport name confusion..?

• My surname - Patil First name - Akash In PASSPORT My surname - Patil First name - Akash Pravin In MY CERTIFICATES NAME: Akash Pravin Patil My confusion is that whether in PASSPORT "Given Name" should consist only my name or what it is right now is correct... I am going to apply US for further education, so plzz tell me that my current passport name is correct or do i need to change it??

  Nothing wrong in the passport. Go ahead and apply for visa without worrying. There is no need to request any change in the passport. Visa authorities are aware of the first name and middle name anomaly and do not take it seriously as long as the person entering USA can be identified by his passport.
