I just received my Brazil Visa, but not going to Brazil until after 90 days?

http://www.us-passport-service-guide.com/brazil-travel-visa.html "If you are granted a visa, you must enter Brazil within 90 days of receiving the visa." http://www.passportsandvisas.com/visas/brazil-visa-faq.asp# "To enable your visa, you must enter Brazil within 90 days of this date." I just got my Visa to enter Brazil, but I won't be going there until July. That's 90+ days away. I checked to see how long the Visa lasts. My Visa says it lasts for 10 years, multiple entries, and 90 period of stay. I saw that at least those two sites stated that I must enter Brazil in the first 90 days for it to work. Since I am not, what do I do? Is this a problem and will my Visa be invalid and I'll have to get another??? Or does it just mean that my Visa becomes active when I FIRST use it??

Answer:
You quote some rubbish commercial websites that are never updated to reflect the current requirements. It depends on your citizenship whether or not you must use the visa within 90 days. Only citizen of certain countries must do so, for Americans this requirement does no longer exist. Those countries are: Angola, Bahrain, Cambodia, Cape Verde, China, Cuba, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Greece, Honduras, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Libya, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, São Tomé and Príncipe, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Switzerland, Tawain, Thailand, Tunisia. You quote a US site but is it safe to assume you are traveling on a US Passport? This is important fact since different country's citizens are handled differently in Brazil. Click on this link and at the bottom under "Visas" there is a link for more information. It will open an Adobe file that gives information for each country. The requirement for 90 days if traveling on a US Passport is no longer valid but does apply to citizens of Japan. Your name is Japanese. http://www.portalconsular.mre.gov.br/
