Military documentation needed for a new Brazilian passport?

• I need to get a new Brazilian passport. I have dual citizenship (US and Brazil) and live in California. The last time I got a Brazilian passport was in 2003 when I was under 18. Since I'm over 18 this time around I am supposed to provide "military documentation" (#6). What does that mean? So you can see what I'm talking about, below are the requirements to getting a new passport from the San Francisco Consulate: _________________________ FOR A PASSPORT TO BE ISSUED, THESE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS: 1. Formulário de Documento de Viagem, duly filled out over the internet (on line), printed and signed. 2. One photograph taken within the past six months, full face, front view, without glasses or head covering, white background, two inches by two inches (the standard size for a US passport). 3. Payment of the fees listed below, either in cash or postal money order (sold at the US Postal Service branches/agências do correio). Neither checks nor credit cards are accepted. THOSE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE MUST SHOW: 4. An expired passport or a passport about to expire (original document). 5. Proof of fulfillment of all voting obligations. A passport may be issued to a citizen who is not in current fulfillment of voting obligations, but this person must rectify the situation with the Electoral Court within 30 days after returning to Brazil. 6.
