How can i change my date of date of birth on my passport?

In India & Pakistan, there are ways to change date-of-birth, in your passport is as follows:- a. bring declaration sworn on legal stamp paper that your original date-of-birth was that, instead of this, b. bring original birth certificate, showing your full date-of-birth, c. bring your school certificates / educational certificates, showing your full date-of-birth, d. bring news paper advertisment cutting that your date-of-birth was printed wrong and may kindly be corrected, e. fill out chalan and pay the apropriate fee in the bank, f. written application, bearing all these details, to the in-charge of the passport-office, that my date-of-birth may kindly be corrected, simple :)

The mistake is apparent and not with ill motive. One page correction form with copy of birth certificate along with passport is to deposited with passport office for correction. Since mistake is from your end they may charge some fee for correction

Call the passport office and let them know of the error, have your birth certificate ready and file the papers you need to get it changed. A common error and they deal with it swiftly.
