Do gay people in the Middle East have civil rights?

NY residents:Regarding gay rights,what wealthy mainly "die hard" liberals and organizations finance it?

• Especially the same sex marriage equality issue,and the new bill that was just narrowly approved by the NYS legislature.But,the gay rights movement has been going on for years,yet to my knowledge,it's not publicly known what obviously very wealthy groups or individuals started it in the first place.It had to be sponsored by none other than very wealthy individuals or groups. After all,it couldn't possibly have been started and sponsored by average lower middle class people or even low income people. Did these people and organizations try to ride the coattails of the Civil Rights movement of the 1950's and 1960's?
