How can I do a standing front/back flip?

Is anyone getting tired of hearing about the troops and the big standing ovations all over?

  • Now don't get me wrong. I support the troops and the whole nine yards. but it seemed like ever since some point in time you cant go to a baseball or football game without a big standing ovation when they put the troops on the screen. yeah, that's cool and all but, i don't even bother standing up or giving an ovation because it takes a while for the people to stop. I think by now the troops understand we care about them and want to get them home. but it seems like people are doing it just be cool or something. Instead of standing up and giving them an ovation, even though its out of our hands, they should be back home enjoying their family. I just feel like if you're not standing up and clapping (which does nothing) the people around you are like HOW COULD YOU?!!?! It's like "chill out man" . im thankful for what they do and have done over the years, but my god i dont need to give a standing ovation every time they're on a screen or mentioned at an event or football game. and i dont care if anyone disagrees.

World War 2 required 4 years to defeat 2 Empires because we actually wanted to destroy their war-making ability and achieve victory. Afghanistan in in its 9th year and we don't even know what we want to achieve or how to do it. This is a classic case of corporations using government power and governments serving corporate interests because much as I did not believe this, it really is all about oil. Iraq has it and Afghanistan is the place which pipelines need to cross. The troops of course don't care about all that and are not to blame. But face it, they are cannon fodder for moneyed interests. So anyone wanting to support the troops should make sure their Representatives serve We The People and not the existing corrupt system.

who WAS #1?

The problem is we have been involved in these wars for so long now that appreciation for them is becoming watered down. We are working on a better part of a decade of war. Whether or not you agree or disagree with the conflicts people get complacent with their national fervor and get tired of having to give standing ovations even if there are supporters of troops and the wars. There is an effort to keep that spirit high and that involves all the things you talked about.
