But our unemployment would be lower without law-breaking people taking jobs here. Our unemployment insurance is being renewed over and over because of this "significant contribution." And borders should not be determined by those who are on the other side of them, not by crossing them and then expecting sanctuary, and for escape from the law by Federal agents who are ordered to ignore Federal laws. Calderon and those like him offend me. He said the Mexican cartels would not be powerful if Americans would just stop demanding illegal drugs, while our government continues to keep them illegal. Legal Mexican immigrants do not offend me. What is "significant" about the contribution of illegals to our on-going civil-war of words and laws?
