Bachelors in health care administration any good?

Why are Americans being hypocrites by being against the health care reform of the Obama Administration?

  • Basically when Obama was running for President it was all about change. We were tired of the Bush policies and sick of the health care problems because of cost. But that is how it is in a capitalistic society. There was talk about Obama being a socialist during election and so one would think hey he might provide a government run insurance option in our health care system. So why the hell is everyone against it? If the capitalist way of doing health care is not working for us then how should health care reform happen if we cannot give the socialist option a chance?

  • Answer:

Specifically because of all the eligible population to vote in this country he got voted into office by 30%. This is not a mandate and when those of us who did not like either and enough to vote realized the Progressive idiots supporting BHO are planning on spending every dollar in this country we stood up and told the hired help NO.Period Dot End of Story. What part don't the politicians understand? That they are hired help? They work for everyone not just the people who voted for them? That they can be fired?

I didn't vote for him but I remember thinking that he never really said anything. People just wanted him to be elected because of a few things (1) his race (2) tired of Bush .... and he rode that wave all the way to the shore. So, yes, many people were surprised and many don't mind admitting they are disappointed.

Let's be specific here...The question should read "why are the ones that voted for Obama against the health care reform" Not all Americans voted for him....Because Obama is a big liar and he can't speak for himself. He promised all this good stuff he was going to do for the country but it's pretty much just turned to crap. I can't wait until his term is OVER.

This is not merely about a single bill. Nor, a single line in that bill. This is about a fundamental change in the framework of our country. A framework designed over 230 years ago. A framework that when compared to the rest of the world has been successful in every aspect of human existence. The individual yelling from a soapbox, is sort of what this country is based upon. Angry disgruntled free people with determination built this country. From what I see so far, this appears to be just frustration. Frustration of no getting the right questions asked. Being pushed aside and said to be irrelevant, pointless, or maybe crazy. These comments put down individuals with valid arguments rendering them unnoticed or ignored. Of course people will get loud and obnoxious. In a time where the mainstream media has clearly taken sides, a time where they may very well be needed most. They chose not to say anything negative. This is not the first time health care has been brought up in this forum. The reasons for its arrival again are not even questioned. Obama has surrounded himself with intelligent individuals no one seems interested in who they are. Town hall meetings clearly are stacked with supporters since there are rarely negative questions yet, outside hundreds protest. None of these people could get in? Why? If Obama wants questions from the opposing side, there they are. Go out and answer some. Yet he will not. Our government was given its specific powers (limited) for a reason. Government is continually searching out more pathways of influence and leverage. What better way of “helping people” than by implementing government oversight. Health care is especially easy for the implementation of socialist policies, policies under the guise of helping others. Now, how can that be wrong? Even if intentions are not based in socialist ideals, it certainly pushes the gates wide open for it. Health care was an issue even in the 1700s. Unemployment and homelessness were a common sight as the American currency of the time reached a value of 0. If it were such a good idea, would it not have been included in the framework designed by the forefathers? It was not. This is a problem better solved by the people. Who says that the government must run a clearing house for insurance? Why should we look to the menu of options they decide is best? What company would be at the top of that menu? AIG? Why cant this be done in the private sector, where it belongs. Where competition can help keep costs down, where frivolous lawsuits can be penalized. We do not need a massive, gargantuan government program with a growing bureaucracy to help people when we can do better.

We already have Government run health care silly medicare and Medicaid you must be to young to use it. We who don't want government run health care for everyone will hold medicare for you. Do us a favor when you start it let us know how well you like it if it still has enough money to cover you. Those of us our here who recognize that the government can not afford to cover everyone and if they do it will be much like Medicare broke. Don't you recognize that most doctors are no longer accepting medicare because of the way the Government is running it. Wake up.

Just because he won the "election," if you want to call it that, does not mean that the American population is stupid enough to allow him to institute his socio-fascistic policies in our republic. The government was never granted the power to administer health care by the Constitution, therefore any attempt to do so is an attack on the republic and should be treated as such, peacefully if possible, by force if necessary. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away[through taxes] from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. -Thomas Jefferson
