How much do companies usually take away from your pay?

While many companies are asking people to take pay cuts, are the big dogs taking them too? ?

But the big dogs are not likely to take any pay cuts--that is why they are asking their peons to take the pay cuts instead. Oh yes, a lot of my acquaintances are taking pay cuts or working reduced hours... Or they are unemployed from virtually every kind of occupations...

A number are. Not all, but quite a few big wigs are taking cuts. One of our clients recently cut nearly 20 executives who answered to the CEO directly, while the CEO himself and the rest of the board took a 20% pay cut.

What is a 20% pay decrease to someone who gets 20 million a year in compensation ? So they go down to 16million a year . So what . They are already independently wealthy . Most of us would be glad to take one year of their salary and retire because we wouldn't need any more . But these people don't see it that way . They must always have more and more and more ... while sucking the rest of us dry. The big dogs take pay cuts to look good , look at me I'm giving back wealth I could never spend in one lifetime . meanwhile the guy who lives paycheck to paycheck can take a cut too . Sorry you can't afford your mortgage anymore . Too bad your children won't be able to go to college . The big dogs will do whatever benefits them . They don't care about the average workers who make their exorbitant salaries possible .
