I lost/forgot about a jury duty summons?
-
I literally got this thing in the mail an hour before I went to the airport to go away for a week, and since I didn't want to lose it, I left it home. When I got home, I completely forgot about it and then went back to school. Anyway, I'm a student and should qualify for them to void my summons (and I can show documentation). However, I lost my summons. What do I do?

Call the Court and talk with the Court Clerk and explain your situation. uh, before the Judge issues a Bench Warrant for your arrest for ignoring a summons for Jury duty. (wait, is that a knock on your door?)

The court may go easier on you if you fess up right away.
