Why i can't loads my mail?

Royal Mail, Arn't they Crap?

  • the whole service is a waste of time, they dont know what Guaranteed means, and all they ever say is, Ohhhh its in transit and ohhh were really sorry, they go on strike for more money but they cant even do there job properly in the 1st place, there are loads of people looking for jobs in the royal mail and cant get in, i say sack the retards and bring in the eager ones, oh im so wound up,and babbling on lol they should just be called Mail and when they can opereate as a team again then the Royal will return

  • Answer:

Yep Crap! I remember when we were rightly proud of the service, not now, I've found my mail just thrown onto my front step for anyone to pick up? I think the 'service' is too far gone to rescue, and competition should be allowed to take over, and if they're not up to the job, another company gets the job.

I totally agree I have tried to get them to stop mail being delivered to the previous person that lived at my address (now deceased) I have filled in forms seen them face to face and I got the same answers that you got really

Stop your ranting. Generally everything is fine. They deliver the mail from Cornwall to the Shetlands the next day. What more do you want.Who are the thousands looking for jobs in the Mail. don't be silly... As for the strike they have talked and talked and the management will not negotiate on a very low pay offer. Sounds like you want a team of slaves to be at your beck and call.

totally they made the service more expensive and poorer quality and whats this about different sizes for envelops that really does my head in!

the 2.whatever% payrise is only tip of it! this comes with 10 attachments which include closing sub-offices and having only 1 post office per town - THINK OF THE QUEUES! they also what to fiddle with their pensions - which the government messed up 12 years ago and havent paid in since! I dont work for them but i have read the right newspapers that have reported on the situation - the general media are painting a bad picture! I agree with the strike - go Royal Mail!

Based on my experience, I disagree..... I live out in the sticks, the post is realiable, granted it does take an extra day for first class to get delivered, but so what, it does get delivered. In 20 years at this address Ive only ever had one parcel go astray,.... it went back to the supplier, as uncollected mail (I had no notification a delivery had been attempted). contrast that to the like of the couriers, many can't be bothered to deliver here, they just don't attempt it. some can't find the address, yet everyone else can find it. some spend 5..6 days pretending to deliver things and don't, basically they want you to come to their depot and pick it up. those guys make money if there are lots of deliveries in the same area, otherwise delivering a single parcel cost them serious cash. Some delivery companies do do a good job, but I wouldn't hold my breath.. Ive just had a 5 day session with DHL before they were blackmailed into delivering the parcel.. idle barstewards I've only had one letter sent that went astray, and that was to an address in London, in part it was my handwriting (poor) but there was a problem at their end. I think there are problems in places like London, but what the heck do you expect if there is in place things like national bargaining agreements which say a postie in Thurso should be paid the same as a postie in London, despite a London weighting. What should happen is the postal employees should be paid what they are worth, and if there's a shortage you pay more untill you meet your requirements. Its part of the reason that NHS cleaning, and most state services are so bleedin' awful, is that government tinkers with the pay and conditions because it can't won't or whatever pay a market rate. BTW when I say the sticks, I mean some25..30 miles form Manchester, 5 miles from a major sorting office, 2 miles form a sub post office.

No, I disagree. Try living out of town in a not too easy place to find! Royal Mail make it here every day without fail. Just don't get me started on the subject of City Link. I have never ever had a delivery anything other than a minimum of two days late from them!

O J

Certainly are!..

bugaboo

Yes cant argue with that. What I don't understand is I get my mail during the week at 3.00pm give or take a few minutes, which is a disgrace to have it delivered at this time !! Yet every Saturday without fail they are here before 9.00am why cant they come at this time everyday !!!! :)

i was waitin last july for a letter but it never arrived so in august i wasted a stamp n sent my self a letter n guess what it still aint here lol so yes they are crap n i think my postman/woman is takein my post home
