Why are US citizens afraid of free health Care and education?

• The citizens of all other countries enjoy free health care and education and laugh at us because we profit from the suffering of the sick and uneducated. why do we allow the rich pharmaceutical company's, hospital organizations, health insurance company's,universities and colleges and elitist Ivy league politicians tyrannically rule over the citizens of a country that is "for the people, by the people" ? They are not for us but have enslaved us. The politicians and heath care royalty have deceived the populous in thinking they would be better off paying twice as much for the service than paying 90% less by using tax money to pay for it.The truth is that those rich fat cats are greedy and are afraid they wont be able to buy new cars every year, vacation houses , lavish party's and ivy league educations so they use scare tactics to put fear in the minds of the sick and uneducated they created to support their lifeStyle. Is socialized medicine and education really that bad? Are we the only "enlightened" country? It seems to me that we are just a young rebellious country who ran away from home and wants to waist our money on shiny trinkets instead of taking care of its sick,tired,poor,hungry.

  Industrialization and free enterprise is what haas made (or did make) America great. You, like anyone else, have an opportunity to develop a business and prosper from it. You will need to meet certain legal and regulatory requirements but you have the opportunity. That is what our health care providers and insurance companies have done. They although have a great amount of backing and are set for huge profiting so they get more backing. The major problem is although they start out with at least fair intentions it does not take long before greed takes over. They allow the good of America and our citizens to become second place and turn their interests to their own advancement and wealth. They gain financial power and followings to a point where they can manipulate elected officials. Far too many elected officials are ready to turn their back on Americas needs for their personal gain and end up becoming pawns for big business. Remember in the Bush administration how many senators and congressmen left their jobs to become big business executives and advisers? As long as our elected officials put big business and their party ahead of the needs and best interest of the American people we will move closer to becoming a third rate nation. Communism failed not because of what we did but because of the greed in their system.
