What's the timeframe for absolute takeover of agriculture in Obama's plans?

Every evil empire (uh, can you name a GOOD empire?) must take control of agriculture. It will happen here. Since the 1930s laws already exist to give Federal government complete jurisdiction over agriculture and its distribution. Your home garden makes you (if they want) a Soviet Collective Farmer. There will be emergencies, anti-hoarding laws. Your kitchen affects a public interest. Instead of fixing the money, we've spent a year on health insurance and now we begin immigration reform (without fixing the money situation). How do you see the schedule after Amnesty is passed (or 'deemed to have passed' if they don't have the votes)? Where is a complete takeover of agriculture on that list? You know it's coming.

Well, without taking large amounts of time to research, I suggest looking up HR 875 at gov track.com (link provided below). HR875 was titled as the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009; however this specific bill is "dead". It is difficult to say whether or not this bill (having been retitled) is still basically in the works. There is such a vast and confusing network of bills and their activity that even though one specific bill is "dead", it still doesn't mean that another very similar bill hasn't attached itself to the original and could be making progress. With all of the addendum's it is time consuming to track and figure out what is still remaining of the original. But the point is (other than our ability to track bills is too cumbersome) is that there are several...and I mean several bills pertaining to the same issue so there is no telling when we will see serious changes in the "jurisdiction" of our foods (agriculture). There is no doubt that plenty of people are pursuing changes judging by the titles of some of the current legislation flooding congress. HR 875 caused quite an uproar last year due to its loose wording and deceptive title. The issue being that if the intent of the federal government was anything other than pure, our rights to even have a private garden could have been in jeopardy. The fact that this bill was even introduced tells us (loud & clear) that somewhere, someone is trying to undermine some of the most basic aspects of our lives as American citizens. The shove towards blinding regular, independent family farmers & all those selling their produce in stands (etc) with undue & burdensome paperwork is a clear attempt in obliterating the American farmer and replacing them with corporate farms in which monstrous corporations such as Monsanto have a strong interest in. In a nutshell, if someone who has a lot of money to be made in corporate farming and that someone has a seriously long history of proving they don't mind hurting people (physically, financially etc), and all it takes is a little confusing and loosely worded legislation to implement.....why not? When billions (at least) could be made....then why not? There are, most assuredly, multiple bills in the process right now that are designed to undermine We the People. With that in mind....how, when we have a deliberately cumbersome process and are targeted by shameless behemoth-like corporations, can We the People be expected to anticipate WHEN? It is better to just brace yourself by being self-sufficient and as prepared financially as possible. There is no reason to believe that there are not drastic, if not totally devastating changes coming down the pipe. We must protect ourselves for our federal government surely will not.

Its end I do not know and probably nobody does except the elite in that scenario. I do know that in 1977 I worked for a firm that sold and installed huge fencing systems and nightwatchman clock in boxes to the food giants here in Tennessee. The selling strategy was based on fear of future breakdown in govt. and the need to be prepared to control the food supply and its distribution. The firm in Johnson City has since changed hands but their warehouses are still surrounded by high fencing. Here is another thought on the subject: Concerning implementing the military/triage system: "This, my friends, will serve only as an uncompassionate and heartless means to guide us through this ongoing dilemma of increasing food shortage. This system mechanically divides man into three categories; one, the can’t be saved, two, the walking wounded, and three, those who can be saved by “our” help."

@ " im looking forward to it. obama took over the auto industry about a year ago" < Perfect example of what the Soviets called Useful Idiots. Damn it gives me a chill when I read responses like that! For a hundred years our government has been taking bites out of our freedom and private property rights. Since FDR the bites have gotten bigger and bigger. If Obama and Co. had their way they'd swallow us whole! Do people not realize it's impossible to give government more power without first taking it from the citizens?

They can't do it before the November elections, and after that it does not matter! There will be a clean up in Washington the likes this country has ever seen! Why do you think Obama want's health care reform right now? Because he knows people have wised up to his Bull Sh*T and he needs to get as much done as he can before November.

OBama is not concerned with your agenda, it is his agenda he cares about First, US last.

I hadn't heard about agriculture lately but there are efforts to control all water. All water, even puddles on your property. There is an already existing bill that gives the government control of all navigable water and all they have to do is remove the word "navigable" which has been done but not voted on. I would guess that would effect agriculture in the same way it has in CA where the nation's breadbasket has been denied the right to irrigate and has cost 40 thousand jobs as well as 15% of our food supply. They are feeding the people who are out of work with food imported from China. How ironic.

havent head about it but im looking forward to it. obama took over the auto industry about a year ago an what do we have now. the image of american cars is higher among buyers then it has been in decades. reviews show more people are looking at buying american. when obama came in we had the automakers on the brink of bankruptcy. im not saying obama is a miracle worker but i think similar improvement would be great.
