Can you tell me of your experience in an earthquake?

Where were you and what were you doing when the earthquake happened?!?

  • I'm sure you've heard of the earthquake that happened on the east coast today at 1:51 P.M. I was in my basement and on the computer when I started to feel everything shake! I started to freak out and began crying! Tell me of your experience!

    I was getting lasik eye surgery. Not ideal.

I live in Northern Virginia very close to DC. A friend was visiting with me and my husband when it happened. As a Lebanese person, I've had some experiences with earthquakes so as soon as I felt it, I told the other two that that's what it is and run to frame doors. My friend and I were holding hands standing in the bathroom doorway :) The funny thing was that I was still clutching my coffee cup. Oh yes, I need my java brain infusion wherever I am or whatever happens :) I am sorry you were crying on your own :) is that the first time you experience an earthquake?

Your Basement must of been safe!!! at least it wasn't in your car. I was with my parents and the earthquake occured. I have never been so scared in my life. It felt like something out of those corny stupid horror movies. It felt King Kong or like Monster Dinosaurs were walking. lol I know thats over dramatic but it felt like that to me. The worst part was when i was in the mists of this earthquale guess which song came on..... Justin Bieber- Baby lol >:( This was truley event i wont forget
