If it is proven that cell phone towers are truly the cause of the decline in bees, would you give yours up?
-
Albert Einstein told us long ago that we, as a species, would only have 4 years left on this planet if there were no bees to pollinate our crops. The decline in the number of worker bees is terrifying, and is growing steadily. This is a VERY serious issue, and many scientists feel that the sound waves and energy emanating from cell phone towers are interfering with the bee's "navigational systems" and causing their decline. Could you imagine us as a nation getting smart enough to take a step back to the days when we weren't available by phone 24 hrs. a day and prioritize our lives in a way that could prolong life for all?

Totally. I'd flush my cell phone for pollination. I love flowers.

Yes, then we can switch to satellite phones.

Absolutely. I still wonder if cell phones are safe for us to use.

Not a problem we have other ways to communicate by cell phone than the radio waves that harm them bees

ummm no. i hate bees. they scare the **** out of me, i run when i see them. and i love my cell phone <3 <3 <3 by the time it takes to eliminate every single bee i will be longgggggggg gone. i might as well endulge and enjoy my life. i cannot believe you are actually implying that cell phones are causing our life expentancies to be shorter. being able to contact family and friends at any given time is necessary and a wonderful advance in technology that is only going to continue to prosper as time goes on. Just because a scientist FEELS a certain way doesnt mean that it has been proven. a bees "navigational system" is probably minimal to its survival; a bee sees a flower, pollenates, goes to the next, and so on and so on. bees are attracted to the color and smell of a flower and i would really like to see some proof how the "cellular phone waves" are interfering with a bees ability to recognize a flower. completely absurd, as is your question.

We may have to because bees pollinate the agricultural crops. Honey won't be the only food to go up in price. We have been spoiled by low food prices. It is a very important issue, so I would give mine up because I don't use it much anyway.

Some scientists also believe in global warming, while some do not. All scientists have their own agenda these days depending on who is backing their research financially. The bee population is more likely declining due to urbanization of their former territories. Concrete and buildings are taking the place of flowers and places for hives, so bees, like other animals, are being forced out. Same reason you see less butterflies these days.
