• Urgent! Plz Read! We need your help!? URGENT! PLZ READ AND REPOST IF POSSIBLE! Innocent animals being killed?!? The kingsport animal shelter can no longer continue shelter operations due to the lack of adequate funding from the city of Kingsport, corporate sponsors and outside donors. Without immediate action the shelter will close its doors on JUNE 12th. In the absense of a shelter, the residents of the City of Kingsport will no longer have a place to surrender homeless animals or to adopt new pets within the city limits. While the loss of our shelter and its services for animals is heartbreaking,it will also pose a health and safety risk to the public as unwanted animals are left to roam the streets of Kingsport. SAVE THE SHELTER. Please contact the Kingsport Board of Mayor of Aldermen to request increased city funding of the Kingsport Animal Shelter and consider a monetary donation to help keep the shelter open. She was a sweetheart. It broke our heart to think that she could possibly put down for other peoples ignorance. This is just ONE of the dogs that are at the shelter that NEED your help. Adoption fees are 30$. There are tons of different breeds,big dogs,little dogs,kittens...plz don't let them shut our shelter down! Plz contact them and hopefully they will realize just how important this is. PLZ REPOST! PLZ AND THANK YOU! I understand that this may not be your city or state but by spreading the word you give not only my animal shelter hope but others as well. The more ppl that see this the more likely ppl will respond and let the mayor know just how important this animal shelter is.
