Housing Authority Rules in WA?
-
Currently I live next door to a person who is on low income housing. They have lived next door to me for almost a year. They are selling drugs and having random people in and out of there and also living there for months at a time. They do NOT clean up after there yard and always leave it a mess. The person that had originally moved there who the housing is under moved out and the other people stayed. Is this even legal? Our neighbors have had enough and are looking into report the house to the local housing authority. Does anyone have any idea on how they go about investigating into things to see if that person is even living there? and about the other random people living there?

Answer:
Im assuming your talking about a government housing commission house, provided by the government , to low income earners. In any case, it works like this....................On each disturbance when police are called, even if it is for something minor, like someone swearing, or causing trouble. The police will give , to whoever called them, (lets say you) a police incident report number. Over the nest few months, lets say, another four neighbours, call the police for different reasons, about the same house causing trouble. The police will give each of them, police incident report numbers. So now, you have five indepent police incident report numbers for different reasons. Send those police incident report numbers, to the housing commission, and your local member of government. The housing commission will then investigate the state of the house, with an inspection and begin the process from there. The reason for sending the incident numbers to your local member of parliament, is to have "added" credible backing, who will influence the housing commision to pursue proceedings. In these cases, if all that is done. The offending people, WILL be removed from the house. Initially, they will be given a chance to change their ways. But after a period of short time, if nothig has changed after an inspection at a later date. They WILL be removed from the property. Get togethor with your neighbours for a general chat , to collect police incident numbers. When you and your neighbours have collected them, and you all think the time is right. Send it off to the proper authority as above. Its important to note, that you do not divulge, to anyone at that property you called the police. The police will not tell them you called, nor should you. As you can become a target.
