Nightly news program?

Would you support a "news" style program that was dedicated too "good" news?

  • Instead of just that one little "feel good" story at the end of a news caste...acutally a program that found the positive angles on stories...or looked for positive potential solutions. I don´t know about you, but I think there is probably more GOOD in the world; but to watch the news would give you the opposite image. So if there were a program such as "The Nightly Good News," would you watch?

    Damn straight. I think its about time that the populace of the world stopped watching and concentrating on the negative. what good does it do people to watch what the media believes is the most negative things in the world. wars, famine, murder, politics, i mean come on. how does it help the average family to hear that stuff on the news. news should be good. or at least half and half.

trying to ignore the evil in this world is delusional evil is very real ,its not as you point out all pervasive as they would seem to want us to believe , but really to have a fluff 15 minutes of sport [avoiding the real truths is crazy ,all ready because of the ''feel good'' types half the news is sport get that news means truth [not fluff pieces ,but the reality [that is why it news not sport , not drama dumbing down the reality for rose coloured glass vieuw, all is sweet isnt news it propaganda , the truth is dont watch the news if you cant handle the truth , dont make more of fairy tales that allready turned into fiction but stay the heck away from it , if you cant handle the real life facts [truth] but dont go giving more licence to dumb it down any further you want to watch some thing else do it but news is enough [too much fluff as it is , more truth , less fluff ,not only the good , but the bad and the ugly , for the rest go watch simpsons ,but make news more real [not less real]
