Do people shop online on Yahoo?

Why is it that Yahoo articles never contain what their headlines say?

  • I just read an article entitled, "Shopaholics might have a mental disorder". While reading it, I realized that it just spoke about hoarders and about people that can't get rid of a piece of their lives. It mentioned nothing detailing why shopaholics shop and what brings this desire about. Maybe the above was not a good example but here is another. I once read an article entitled, "The top ten islands in the world." I read it and it mentioned one island and the article continued detailing the one island. At the end of the article, none of the other nine were mentioned. There are so many articles like those. They're are so frustrating and such a waste of time. Does Yahoo check these articles before they are posted by the journalists? Thanks in advance and please help me understand why SOME of Yahoo's articles are this way.

  • Answer:

My complaint is different . I read an article yesterday and posted a comment and I was the first person to comment , then hours later I looked back at the article and it had been updated and the story was completely different and my comment was no longer relevant or sensible with relation to all the changed "facts" so as a result my comment had received a bunch of thumbs down. Unlike with YA it is not possible to delete or update your comments to news articles. Sorry I got off the point there but you are right often the headline is totally misleading and only partially connects with the article.
