Where can I find this interview?

As a student journalist, where can I find someone to interview online or life for an essay?

• I have to do this essay that requires me to interview a person to uncover a true story and record it, the story may be about a event, a memory, or an object that holds special meaning for the person. The problem is, I don't really know anyone, not even friends or family that I can interview for this essay, ( I don't have any friends in real life, and as for family, it's quite complicated. ) nor to say that my communication skills could use "a lot" of help, and it's winter here, so traveling for me ( walking in my case. ) is not such a grand idea. =/ I was hoping that maybe I can find someone or some forum online that would actually be helpful and take the time for this essay, but I don't know where to start or who to look for in this case. Is there anyone of journalism skills that can give me any opinion on how I should go about to finding someone to interview for this essay? preferably online if possible, weather it be text or by voice chat.

  Sure you can interview me. I'm 65 Use to be a surfer growing up in the 60's, been to college, had good friend's AND bad. I was in the service during the Vietnam period, worked as a construction welder, Had a wonerful wife die in my arms of cancer, went to prison for 2 years for DUI's and probably some other stuff I can't think of right now. Will that do? I'm not Famous or outstanding in any way. Just a guy.. Robert
