Good cameras for filming skateboarding?

What kind of cameras where they filming elvis presley in 1977 vs Italia world cup 1990 ? profetional cameras?

• Could someone please help me out with some camera questions? Question 1: What type of profetional cameras was there on stage when ELVIS PRESLEY did his very final concert in 1977 ? i recall seen a guy holding a mobile camera around. But that was the only one seen on videos... the other was more of the giant studio cameras. Would like to know what models and brand or what it did looked like. Question2: When the FIFA WORLD CUP ITALIA 90 was on... where they using film cameras to film the event or real live video like todays? you see i notice there was a guy filming like old film movie camera right close to the stage... one of the cameras men perhaps.. but what type of camera was that and why film it on film when film was like mainly for movies rather then film something like that. Unless it was a video camera ? The other question was FIFA WORLD CUP ITALIA 90' there was a guy right close to the cameras.. holding a round see thru plastic BOWL that looked like a dish while he was holding it.. it looked more like a BOWL shape rather then a dish.. the guy had headphones on and was holding a plastic bowl and was pointing the bowl directly to the game...... was this to pick up audio or was this some sort of technical stuff for the technology back then for the live events? obviously back then there was micophones install all over the stadium.. but what was that type of see thru round bowl? it looked like a dish but it looked more like a bowl rather then a dish. If someone can help me i would so much preciate your full time in helping me out. I will rate anyone who can answer them all and able to give releavant information writen down. thank you Im very interesting of the technology of the 1977 concert of elvis.. vs the technology during the italia 1990 world cup.
