How do you write a film review?

  • I'm supposed to write a film review for college about The Breakfast Club but it has to be about 1,200 words but I'm not sure how to make it that long or how to write a film review.

    To write a review you basically recap what the film and intersperse you opinions whether you like the actors and actresses, liked the plot, most, however, a review is a summary.

Start at the beginning and write about each major film shift, the background (The country it is in) the other actors and some of their former roles. Include some of the action scenes and how they affected you. finish up by ranking the movie--maybe in comparison to other fight type movies.
