Does anyone know who owns Versus Tv?

Do you know anyone who isn't an idiot who owns an iPad?

  • All the people I know who own an iPad are idiots and not tech savvy at all. One of those people is my 11 year old cousin (yes an 11 year old owns one...although probably gets more use out of it playing games than the adults i know who own them). It's obvious people buy them because they're cool and hip or whatever, so there's no need answering the questions as to why people get them. So my question is simply: Do you know anyone who is intelligent and not a sheep following the crowd who owns an iPad? Also, do they use it for legitimate tasks, or should they have just stuck to their laptop/phone and despite not being a retard, were one at the time of purchase? Also, why did they just not buy an android tablet, which would be superior in ever way due to the lack of restrictions and value. (coming from a windows phone guy who never owned an iPhone or android phone (just an iPod touch, that i still use).

Yes, I know a 50 year old lady whose children gave her an iPad. She uses it for e-mail and to look up answers to questions, and other legitimate tasks. She receives pictures from her children and she can take and send pictures also, like one of a bunch of church folks to keep. Younger people are usually the ones who mis-use such an awesome electronic.

My husband owns one, and I believe he is a very intelligent man. He bought one because he is a photographer, and he bought one for the easy compatibility to his other apple products at his studio. He does work from home on it. He also uses it when he's previewing the pictures for his clients-they hold the iPad and he loads the photos onto it. The clients like it.

No. I don't see why anyone would need one. I mean, it's not easy to carry one around, and if it's for home use, why not just buy a laptop. I have an 18" qosmio at home and a dell venue pro running on WP 7.5 in my pocket. I'm using that now to answer your question. What more do I need?
