What are some of UNICEF's main accomplishments since it has started?

I started thinking about Heath ledger?

• I asked this a few years ago when he died and no one answered...so I'm asking again. I met Heath ledger the week he died and we started talking about how people live on through they're legacies and accomplishments so I asked what he thought of death and he said "the legacy you leave behind is your true immortality. Immortality is living on through things and people. I'm grateful that I can be apart of something big" and I was thinking that maybe he knew he was going to die soon..because he talked about death like that in an interview...what do you think? Because ivwas watching the dark night and I want an opinion..and don't even bother commenting if your going to beat me down because if I had said that about a non famouse person you wouldn't be mean about it..just sayin

  There's no way to know, of course, but it's certainly quite possible. And what a beautiful, eloquent statement about one's legacy. Thanks for sharing it. I thought Heath Ledger was amazing. I do hope it was an accident of fate, though, that made him give that response, because the thought of him being aware he was going to die is chilling. He was so young and talented, and his death was so shocking, I kept thinking, "No, it can't be!"
