Whats the difference between visual and printed media?

  • by media i mean news media like television , newspapers and internet what do you feel are the differences which one is more effective? what are each of their advantages? which are prefered?

    Well tv provides on occasion a live report giving up to date info. The internet, easy to access and available when you can't get a paper, but one wonders about the information on the net, as some of its is edited. The newspapers, something to have to hand, with each bit of info having to be put in before a deadline. Now then the tv is generally the fastest means of communicating news en mass with live visual updates, whilst the internet is delayed, so I'd say the tv is the best source.

I would say visual has more effect and as the TV has the capabilities to broadcast live; it’s the fastest and most accessible means. The only trouble is with reports you have also the addition of biased views and I don’t trust this current Government to allow the truth to flow freely; so for that reason I am more inclined to get my information from the Internet; which is available world-wide and often free from the chains of gagging…
