How to write a newspaper article on microsoft word in correct format?

I'm not sure of your question. I THINK you mean, what is the right format for a newspaper article/story? If that's it, and you are going to print this out and submit the printout, then, double spaced, ragged right margin, start down about 2 inches from the top. type in a short phrase on the topic of the story, your name, skip three or four lines and start the article. (Remember to indent the first line of each paragraph.) However, I don't know of ANY newspapers of consequence that do paper copies, it's all done digitally. Every paper has a different requirement on how to do that, ask the copy editor what he wants on the paper you are writing for.
