Well I guess Katz has been closed for good. Apparently the owners got into some sort of conflict, and decided to shut it down permanently. There will always be a new site up anyways! The warez industry is growing everyday. Not only is katz.cd isn't working,but katzforums.com is having the same problem also.

After reading all the answers, there seems to be a lot of speculation and no concrete facts. My conclusion, nobody here really knows what they are talking about and are either making up things or repeating what people say in other forums which is not backed by facts. I guess the story of Katz being hacked by Russians is the most exciting, so people are going with it even though they have nothing to substantiate it.
