What happens to Earth's population every 4 days?

Is the "end of the world as we know it" coming to an end?

  • I am not, nor do I claim to be a psychic. However, in my lifetime (39 years old) I have had instances of strange feelings and premonitions time and time again that seem to come true. Just two days before 9/11, completely out of the blue I told my wife that something big and very bad was about to happen. I didn’t have any idea what it was going to be, but I knew that something was about to happen. I happen to believe that we are near the end of the world as we know it. I don’t know if that means complete annihilation of life on Earth, or if it means that a vast majority of humans will die and a new generation of life, societies and way of living will begin. I am CERTAINLY not looking forward to it, but am beginning to prepare for catastrophic events, should they happen. The Mayan calendar ENDS on December 21, 2012, when Earth, the sun and the black hole at the center of our galaxy are aligned. This is expected to affect gravity on Earth, at the very least. There are also expected to be massive solar flares, electro-magnetic pulses, etc. as a direct result. This alignment happens only once every 26,000 years, and there are no written records from 26,000 years ago to tell us what to expect. There is also the fact that the drastic increase in frequency of extreme natural disasters, as well as the increase of wars, genocide and general “unruliness” in our world seems to coincide with the book of Revelations. The Bible warns that what we are seeing on the news every day today is a sign that the end is near. I have ranked the possible “doomsday” scenarios below in what I feel is the order of likeliness. My question is – What order would you put them in? • Global economic collapse / Civil wars / Governmental collapse and global martial law. • Global pandemic / Flu / Plague / New super virus or super bacteria that kills humans and/or plant life and all crops. • 12/21/12 alignment causing HUGE solar flares and electro-magnetic pulses that completely cripple our electrical grid and all electronics, which would throw us back to a primitive society. And less than 5% of today’s population have the farming, hunting and survival skills necessary to survive. • Warfare – Biological and/or nuclear. I also put the Anti-Christ in this category. Good vs. evil in a global showdown. • Asteroid or meteor strike. I know, I know – NASA is all over this, right? Well, not if the 12/21/12 alignment changes the Earths path and/or rotation even just a miniscule amount. That could change everything!! • Supervolcano, like the one at Yellowstone – which is geologically due to happen at any time. If a volcano of that size were to go, it would not just cripple our country, but most of the world. Complete annihilation and death within hundreds of miles of the epicenter. The amount of ash in the sky would block sunlight, which would kill crops and starve people to death. The air quality would also kill MANY more. • Pole shift of the Earth. I don’t feel this is likely to happen in our lifetime, but with 12/21/12 planetary alignment, who knows? • Zombies. I mean, come on… ZOMBIES? Really? This was all started by science fiction, so I guess we are just as likely to be attacked by Godzilla… Some people might include alien invasion in this list, but while I do believe in intelligent life elsewhere in our universe, and I do also happen to believe that they have visited us, I do not think that they would invade us. If anything, I believe they would help us, since we are like cavemen or retards compared to them. If they were going to invade, they would have done it long ago. I think they would help, like they did for the Egyptians with the pyramids, or the Mayans with their structures and their calendar (which happens to be more accurate than our atomic clock in Colorado). So I am keeping the aliens out of this one. So, where would you rank the 8 possibilities listed above?

read the bible ... we have more than 1000 years left before the earth will be forever destroyed. Our personal world could end anytime so be prepared for eternity with God... dont leave earth without Jesus.

1. Not in 2012. Despite problems with Greece, many countries are fairly sound financially. 2. Ditto. Human viruses do not infect wheat, wheat viruses do not infect potatoes, potato viruses do not infect maize, maize viruses do not infect cattle and on and on. Viruses are keyed to species, genus or family, to put it biologically. Much the same can be said for bacteria. 3. Utterly false, it is a deliberate lie and fraud. 4. Religious rubbish mostly proceeding from American evangelical Protestants and regarded as false doctrine by R Catholics, the Orthodox and the largest Protestant sects, and utterly ignored by Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs etc. 5. The alignment is a lie, and there are no known asteroids on a collision course with the Earth. There are plenty of unknown small rocks which might damage a car, fall through a roof and bounce off a sofa or by a very slim chance, kill someone,\ a dog, a camel, or fall in the sea and inconvenience a few fish. 6. If Yellowstone was about to erupt the land would be rising and the geysers like Old Faithful would be disrupted as magma rises below, this is not happening. 7. Pole shift comes from the failed May 2003 planet X prophecy from Nancy Lieder and was always false. The 2012 lies are a direct descendant of that delusion and fraud. 8. Yep, Godzilla is more likely, but she's only interested in destroying Tokyo. The Japanese have fought her off through a dozen movies so I suspect they know what to do by now. In reality, Godzilla is a memory of the burning of Tokyo after the Great Kanto earthquake in 1923 and again at the end of the Second World War as a result of American conventional bombing which killed almost as many people than Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombs combined. 9. Extraterrestrial aliens have never visited the Earth and probably never will. A fair proportion of any intelligent aliens that might exist will still be in a stone age. The masonry of the Mayan and Egyptian pyramids is good but primitive. Any space faring aliens would have known of the arch, which is better than the corbel used by Mayans and Egyptians. Though used here and there in ancient times, it took the Romans to actually use it on a wide scale. That was 2500 years AFTER the Egyptian Great Pyramid and a few hundred years before the Mayan pyramids. 10. The Mayan system of time keeping was LESS accurate than the one introduced by Julius Caesar about 45 BC, long before the Mayans had much of a civilisation and that was based on an old Egyptian calendar of 365.25 days to the year. The Maya probably knew about the 365 days to the year, but not the 0.25 days tagged on. But their calendars had 360 days.

I feel world would be better place even if half the population is wiped out . there would be no war for resources as availability would improve it is quite common in animal kingdom resources and consumers are balanced

Of course, it's a different world to the one I grew up in. And, just for your information, our calender ends every single year.

Well, I'm almost 70 and I've seen so many people with premonitions. Most are just dreams or fantasies. Your world may end, but mine will just get better!
